Check Air service agreement

The Air Service Agreement should be made between Your country’s government and the Mongolian government in order to make scheduled flights between the countries.

Send official designation of airline letter to CAAM

A formal designation of airline letter from your Civil Aviation Authority must be received by the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia.

Responsible organizations: Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia

  1. Send via post to CAAM, Khan-Uul district, 21th province, Buyant-Ukhaa, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia,17120
  2. Send via email [email protected]
  3. Deliver the letter in person.
  4. Send by your CAAM through the embassy of Mongolia in your country (recommended and see the process diagram below)

Apply for Foreign air transport operator certificate 129

Foreign airlines must obtain Foreign air transport operator Certificate 129 from CAAM

Apply for flight permit

1. Get open slot information from the table below

  • Get your desired available SLOTs at the airport from the table below. You can confirm the SLOTs with NUBIA LLC /Marketing division at [email protected]/

Available SLOTs for W2024 at Chinggis Khaan international Airport as of 27 November 2024


2. Send filled Form “A” and following documents to [email protected] to the Air Traffic Flow Management Department of the CAAM to apply for Flight Permission and SLOTs at least 30 days prior to the first flight date.

5.1.2 The flight applicant (foreign country) shall submit the following documents for a new international take-off and landing flight. These include:

  • Form “A” Click here to download
  • Certificate of air operator certified in accordance with Part 129 “Foreign air transport operator - certification”;
  • Certificate of aircraft airworthiness (for all aircraft specified in form "A");
  • Certificate of aircraft registration (for all aircraft specified in form "A");
  • Aircraft noise certificate (Additionally if necessary);
  • Insurance information;
  • Ground handling service information;
  • Air operator official address;
  • Addresses of branches and units in Mongolia or contact addresses of the appointed representative (employee) in Mongolia (telephone, fax, e-mail, SITA, AFS, etc.).
